It's quite hard to set a big chunk like the case on fire. The biggest problem might well be the secondary stuff that the magnesium set on fire, like the cardboard that Brad was working on. I've seen quite a few VW engine fire carcasses, but the case was always pretty much intact. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
