We been getting 18 mpg on the '69 SB and have checked everything else in the FI system, so we finally got the new gauge on and set the pressure. The gauge is + or- 3% (60lb full scale) so when it read 29 I figured the true reading was somewhere between 27 and 31. I turned the pressure down 2 lbs. to 27. This is a 7% change, quite a bit to change the mixture. We'll have to see what it does to the mileage. The car seemed to have a little more pep and willingly pulled to 35 in 2nd gear, when it felt like it had topped out before at about 30-32. Hope this solves our problems.
