Adapters to the power plant? etc? > Yes, a corvair engine can be adapted, but there are better choices. for one thing, the corvair rotates in the opposite direction, so the rear end has to be flipped. A better choice would be a 2.0L porsche style engine. they will bolt directly to the bell housing, and can be made to develop a LOT of horse power. BTW, if you are thinking of putting it in your '73, 3rd and 4th gear will need some work. Those gears are kinda weak in the later trannies.
