I don't see anything like a PCB on there. I read that the solid state VR 
has a PCB with potting compound evident.  This one looks old school; 
staked pins, a fuse link, and some crazy looking thin wire coil 
underneath.  It's Brazilian Bosch.
Thanks for the offer, but it's OK to have an extra part or two in the 
garage.  There's still room in that box.
