Yup, I was out working on the Roadster 2 / T-3 Heb. Trying to work out my 
convertible top frame, so Keith will take his Notch to the 2006 Invasion. :D  
I've got most of it worked out, but still have a few days of fabrication to go. 
I'm converting a Golf / Rabbit convertible top frame for use on my t-3. So far 
I've gutted most of the stuff I don't need off it, and I've shortened it up to 
the size I need. I think it should be almost done by the end of the month, 
other than getting the frame covered. : )
 I finally got some garage space, since my son is almost done with his 
Roadster rebuild. He's only got some minor things to work out / finish (mostly 
interior work and seat belt stuff). It's looking good, now he just needs to post 
some pics on the Samba for everyone too see. He did a bunch of re-work over the 
early part of winter (before it got really cold and the heavy snow fell), and 
he'd been  working on it since April after it warmed up. He removed the rear 
filler piece, along with some of the boxed areas we put in back in 01, cut up a 
rear gate from a Square (it was already cut in 1/2) to create a rear opening 
edge behind the back seat, then used a section of a t-3 Square's roof to make 
a new filler piece. The result is the new piece sits a little higher in the 
center, and curves really nice. With a couple of side filler pieces add to it, 
it blends into something that looks like it belongs there.

On another note, yes you should get back out there and get back to work. :D
