If it's never been touched, > it's probably fine. Well yesterday, in traffic, the whole FI packed up. It was as though there was no spark at all: the engine was utterly dead. It started again once and ran for a few minutes, then I think both the FI power relay, and the fuel pump relay went click, and it was dead again. Had to get towed home. At home it ran a couple of times, but other attempts it just cranked and cranked with no sign of life. I swapped to a new spare battery and it ran enough to get it parked off the street. Battery voltage is fine, although its fairly old. Charging seems OK. Brand new potted brazilian VR. I can't believe its just the battery. I managed to get it running with both new and old batteries, and both were putting out 12.4V, rising to ~14 with revs, so no significant difference. Its going to take a while to check over all the connections so I'm not even going to start asking questions yet ... -- Matt. UK.
