The diaphram style are the best, and I think that's the only kind you'll find these days. There's a very good chance that your old one is still fine as long as the driven disk didn't wear down to the rivets. The driven disks come in 2 versions: those with torsion springs (original style) and those without (cheaper.) Unless you're drag racing, spend a little extra and get one with the springs by Sachs. I have good new and used Sach's parts here. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
