If you have trim rings, don't wrench them off with a screw driver. I get 
them off by putting a pair of long-nosed pliers into the two little holes in 
the hubcap, putting a hammer handle between the wheel and the pliers as a 
fulcrum, and pushing on the pliers' handle. This levers them off without 
damaging the trim rings.
