<x-charset windows-1250>like everyone said, he just denied it and told me it could have happened anywhere. the paint is totally chipped off for about a 1/2" by 3/4" area. I can tell it is brand new because when I looked closely I could see the little microfibers that would come off during washing if it were an old ding that I just hadn't ever noticed. he didn’t want to admit that I had a good point there and just started pointing out other imperfections in my paint. what a lamo. however, I did notice it the second I came up to the car from 15 feet away. the shop is called Unique Imports in Mission Viejo, CA. Anyone know of another shop I can turn to in the Irvine area if the need should arise? well, the other thing the guy did was turn my drums twice and then tell me that they are so thin they are overheating and warping. that's funny because the pedal started pulsating AFTER the first time he turned them. how can turning drums cause them to generate a pulsation? isn't it the opposite? anyway, they're brazilian so I'd like to get some german ones if anyone knows where I can get some. any good old ones still out there worth working with or should I just go new? shop said they couldn't find anywhere stocking the drums but that they would be $80 each if they did. tia, dan '67 Square, "Stanley" http://www.hoopes.net/dan/square/before.html >Sounds like THEY soured it... find another shop. >Now if it had been Pepsi....... >paint free ding experts can probably get you ding out without touching the >paint, and cost less than $100. >Keith >> not exactly lifting my spirits was the fact that there was an empty >> coke can in the pass footwell and oily footprints on the driver's side >> footwell. any suggestions? i'd hate to sour my relationship with >> this shop, but i feel like i got subpar service. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
