You're right about one thing, they will deny everything and it will  
be your word against theirs. I would let them know about these  
problems in no uncertain terms and also tell them instead of getting  
into any kind of (pardon my french) pissing match with them you will  
vote with your feet. And let everyone in a 20 mile radius know  
exactly what you feel about their shop and their service.

I'm so glad I don't have to rely on others to work on my car. If  
anyone did that to my car I'd be screaming bloody murder.
