If this just lookes like a piece of normal hose, then it has already been replaced and may not be your problem. To check it, just fill up the tank and look to see if it's leaking out there or not. Watch for leaks inside the trunk, too. The junctions of the big filler pipe to the tank are often a problem if the tank has been taken out and not put back together right. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
