It was round, flat with curved down edges, heavy-- I think it was steel. Metallic colored. It looked for all the world just like one of those pieces of metal that go around the pipe to an old-fashioned steam radiator where the pipe goes thru your floor (in your house). I don't have a pic---I can't find the piece. Don't remember what I did with it.
