Unless you're racing, I'd take care to make sure that you don't get shocks that are really too stiff for practical street use. The fasty is pretty light, and, especially in the front, it will be easy to overdo this. The OE shocks are excellent quality, and most of them are still good. I doubt that there is anything out there that you can buy today that is as good. If your OE shocks have already been replaced by some previous owner, then you may indeed be in the market for some good replacements, but be careful. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
