Up thru '70 they have twin airboxes with no fan, but starting in '71 they got the "Hump: in the trunk and the single large central airbox. The late deluxe versions, as imported into the US, got a fan in that central airbox, but some markets got an empty airbox with no fan. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
