Get a stock VW carb pump and bolt it to the engine where it belongs. You will need the pump, the fiber block, and a push rod. The FI distributor drive gear has the cam for the mechanical pump on it. And if you store the FI pump, get some oil or diesel fuel in it to keep it from rusting up inside. -- Russ Wolfe '71 FB AT '66 FB MT '64 T34 (not running) '65 T1 (not running) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
