I tend to name most of mine and cars are almost always female.....at 
least to me.  Most of the time something will trigger the naming.  
Sometimes my kids help out. <G>  I had a blue Festiva for awhile named 
Squirtle (it's a Pokemon for those without kids....Pokemon are annoying 
made-up creatures on Saturday morning cartoons and trading cards. <G>)

Russ Wolfe actually inspired my 71 Fastback's name.  He mentioned on 
the List that she was spec'd as a "plain jane" Fastback and since my 
plans for her are far from "plain", I figured the name fit.

Sophy is from the german for practical....seemed appropriate for my 1st 
Squareback.....maybe not so much now. <G>
