Most of the things that people try turn out to actually be counterproductive. The things that really help are the little things, attention to detail, that aren't sexy at all. Like making sure that all your stock tin is actually there and bolted securely in place. Making sure that the foam pad is in place on top of the oil cooler, making sure that the spark plug air seals are all in good shape, making sure the thermostat linkage is there, freely working, and adjusted properly. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
