[T3] Pulling 1600 - was Newbie with ques

And don't forget to support the rear of the transmission when you pull the
engine from an IRS car. Those transmissions are only supported at the front, so
they need help when the engine comes out.
Last time I pulled my engine (all my T3's are automatics) the front
transmission mount was already broken. Someone had "fixed" it by running
four bolts between the metal sections to hold them together with the
rubber sandwiched in between.
Since then I replaced it with a good one (thanks to a trade with a kind
listmember) and I recall that someone said they can break if you're not
careful when pulling the engine. I need to pull the engine to replace my
heater boxes and do some other stuff, might as well replace the fuel
lines (I stupidly put the braided ones on two years ago and no leaks so
far, but it seems like I'm one of the lucky ones), etc. As you can
imagine I'm paranoid. How easy are the auto transmission mounts to
break? Last time I used a coathanger (suggested by Russ) to hold the
back of the transmission up. Is that all I need to do or does it need
more steadying than that to make sure the mount doesn't break?
Thanks...
Aaron
