I think the "Animosity" is from the poor advance curve. The flat spot is
famous but you can get much of it out by over richening the mixture.
Unfortunatly this considerably affects engine life.
Alot of people buy them as an upgrade and get upset that they are more
like a downgrade. The advance curve is matched to the rest of your setup on
your engine, and the 009 doenst usually match well considering it was for a
constant RPM industral engine.
