I personally don't recommend the 009 in a dual carb engine. They are very hard to get set up and running properly. They seem to have problems with hesitation, as they don't match the power band/ torque curves of our engines. If you want a good distributor for your dual carb engine, find a FI distributor. they have a very good advance curve, AND have a vac. advance for economy on the highway. -- Russ Wolfe '71 FB AT '66 FB MT '64 T34 (not running) '65 T1 (not running) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
