Originally, they had no o-rings. They came with a ground flat washer and
a nut. That had a sealant under it. The above link is the one of my
engine, where you can seel the sealant. I use Aviation Permatex under
the washers. You can use the red sealing nuts. without the washer and
put the seal toward the case.
