You might try using an EMT (conduit) connector, and trim off one end (turning
it into a bulk head connector). The trick might be coming up with a size that
will fit outside the tube, otherwise you'll always had a trace of water in
the end of the hose. You could also add a piece of tin in here, and seal it to
the body with silicone and rivits once you've gotten the pieces worked out. I
know on my 69 Square I had a similar problem, but my tubes were gone, but the
body was still good, and I had to improvise a connector for the hose. I ended
up welding in some new tubes, after searching all over for the size that would
work. I hope this helps.
