Yes, but it's also good for the valve springs, in that they aren't holding a
valve open for 3 to 4 months at a time. Plus you get to splash some oil around
to places that might be suseptible to rust in the event of condensation
internally. I try to do my own cars like this over the winter. It might not be good
on the exhaust, but it gives me a little piece of mind, and it's not like the
car is getting exposed to any road salt. : )
