[T3] air distributor line??

Hey guys,
I believe I still have the original '72 intake air distributor on my '69 
motor.........that being said, I have a steel line coming from a fitting 
installed into the plate bolted onto the back of this distributor.......it 
comes from the back of this distributor and is headed toward the blower 
housing. Is this where my original '72 "pcv" line would run? (from this 
line... to a hose... to the nipple under my crankcase vent black 
box)........
if so, seems like alotta crankcase air would be sucked into the intake air 
distributor.........doesn't make sense to allow this much air in there 
AFTER the throttle butterfly.....
