So if I take the glove box out, yeah I have theglove box partially out(I have removed the screw so that I could remove the air handling unit. It loks like it is riveted on the other end as well(at the latch) I was thinking the best way to lube this thing would be to take it out completely( the wire out of the sleeve) then coat it in some lubricant(suggestions on proper lubricant welcome). -Kevin -----Original Message----- From: Jim Adney [mailto:jadney@vwtype3.org] The handle IS rivited to the glove box. Just take out the whole box with the handle.
