The Porsche 914 Club (http://www.frappr.com/914club/) is doing this and it's kinda neat. Go here: http://www.frappr.com/type3volkswagenowners You don't have to subscribe in order to place your location on the map. All it asks for is your zip code (Japan and England enter in an equivalent). You can post a picture and a short message. Of course, subscribe if you want. >From what I've tried to read in their privacy policy (it's a bit convoluted to follow) they don't share personal information unless you opt-in (this is good) but this is just a guess from what I've tried to read. If anyone cares to hunker down and read the policy and find out exactly, please, let me know! I thought this would be a neat way to see where fellow enthusiast and owners are.
