has always done this ever since i can remember even after having an oil
change. today i disconect the oil sensor and then reconected it to check
and see if mybe the connection was unstable but it seemed fine and after

I know you might have mentioned it, but what year car is it, and does it have
dual carbs? I'm only asking because I've had the air cleaner rub the oil
pressure switch wire terminal and turn the light on before. You might want to make
sure everythings good and clear there. Just something to think about.
