well its a very low milage squareback only 32000. the reason why i thought it was the switch is because its really just so inconsistant when it flickers on and off. sometimes it does it when im driving sometimes it only does it when im idling or some times it does it when i hit the brakes. im going to check my oil level but i dont think thats it cause it has always done this ever since i can remember even after having an oil change. today i disconect the oil sensor and then reconected it to check and see if mybe the connection was unstable but it seemed fine and after that it didnt flicker at all on my way to work but as soon as i got back in it after work it was doing it again. its a very strange problem and i ordered a new switch to replace the old one and we'll see if that fixes it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
