Yes, it's important to understand that the parking brake stuff very seldom needs adjustment. If the lever just comes up too high, that's almost always a sign that the rear brakes need to be adjusted. Whatever you do, make sure the adjusters at the rear wheels are properly adjusted BEFORE you adjust anything at the lever. Most of the time, adjusting the shoes at the wheels will bring the lever back where it's supposed to be. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
