[T3] Drain Hoses aka Leaking Water at my Dash

<x-flowed>So I had a really nice rain shower this morning on my way to work and I 
ended up with some seriously wet feet.  I'm planning to try to check my 
drain hoses (i guess the ones behind my radio).  I'm curious to know how to 
go about removing them so I can clean them?  Where do I access them and how 
do I go about removing them to clean them?

I read at http://www.vwtype3.org/info-water-leaks but I'm just wanting some 
advice on how to unplug these hoses to go about cleaning them.
