He's going to go this route (already bought the calipers, but didn't tell me), as he likes the idea of being able to replace the parts with something more commonly available. It's good to know that you don't loose too much braking ability, and I don't think he's going to put a huge amount of miles on the pads, but if he does, he'll just replace them when worn. The car most likely will do a lot of sitting in one place, as he's still got a ton of stuff to do to it. Once we get them off, I'll see if I can break the bleeders loose, then maybe ship them to Jim, as I know he doesn't like to mess with them. :D Bob 65 Notch S w/ Sunroof 71 Square, now a 2 seat Roadster, pics can be seen at; http://volksrods.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2977 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
