There are many small items that can simply be repaired or replaced. BTW, since we seem to be talking about front axle beams a lot, I'll remind everyone that EVERY type 3 front axle beam has FOUR Zerk (grease) fittings. These should each be lubed once or twice a year. Every type 3 owner needs to also own a grease gun.
