I suggest getting the high temp auto engine paint from
Advanced Auto that cost $4.19 a can you can get
multiple colors and 500 degree or 1200 degree, unless
you have scientific equipment you can't tell the
difference in the paint. I like painting mine because
they look good, using the automotive grade paint it
holds up well with gas & oil. I don't have any problem
with the temp on the engines that I have painted. Phil
