-SOunds like you need to pony up for a Bentley book. The Haynes is OK the -Bentley is better. It sounds like the left side is either not getting fuel -(air only) or perhaps the two plug wires are reversed. You say it has -sparkk, perhaps not at the right time... -Steve Jackson -71 FB (in drydock) Thanks for the input, you guys. It's been raining for the last two days but the sun is out today and I'll go check it out when I return home. I do have a Bentley's, as well as an original Owner's Manual (I should have thought to look in it for the sequence) but it doesn't do me any good in this case since the PO converted the car to carbs and the Bentley only has reference to FI in my '68. I'm really curious about Jim's comment on checking the dizzy so I'll check that first and then check the goofy gauge that splits my fuel lines in case it isn't sending fuel to the left side.
