Re: Carbs to fuel injection

Boy that subject line perks my ears right up! :-)
Yes, you can drop the AAR right in, you may have to change the studs out
though as One set was longer than the other. Jim Adney probably had the
head sensors, they are still available.

start working on a 69 Fastback I picked up. I'm new to the type 3 but the
Fastback was converted to a single carb by the previous owner. I "think" I
have everything I need to return it to fuel injection, as i'm more
comfortable with the fuel injection than carburators. The first thing is the
aux. air regulator. Pictures in the bentley appear to show this where the
mech. fuel pump was installed, so I removed the pump and the "push rod" and
the regulator drops right in. Is this correct? Secondly, does anyone have a
part number or a source for the temp sensor that screws into the cylinder
head? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! ~Franz
