<x-flowed>Hmmm...can't blame a guy for trying, bumpers for these cars are as rare as hen's teeth. I have a somewhat acceptible rear bumper to put on my '71 FB but a hopelessly bent front bumper,,,been looking a year now for a replacement....

Nope. '74 Type 4 had "energy absorbing" bumpers that used hydraulic cylinders
in place of brackets and the mounting is totally different. If you wanted to do
a bunch of fiddling you could make it work, but why bother?
