Matt, I just took another look at your photo and realized that it shows an early 12V VR with the screw terminal for the D+ connector. That style of 12V VR was only used in '68 and was replaced by one which had spade connectors all around. The early style of VR has not been available for decades. You will need to make an adaptor for the D+ terminal. I DO NOT recommend that you try to replace the connector on your D+ wire, as you will not be able to make a sufficiently good crimp with consumer level tools. It might be possible to just drill a hole in the spade on the VR so that you could use a small nut and bolt. -- Jim Adney, Associate Researcher Plasma Physics, 608-262-4643 University of Wisconsin, Madison ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
