Im a couple weeks away from getting my cars out, AT LEAST, as warm weak
el-Nino winters dont just go away and we could still snow well into April
this year... just ask the Folks In Buffalo tommoro :-0
Getting close now though!!

Yeah, the snow was gone for a couple of days, then the rain did a little
washing of the roads, then today we get new snow (thank god it didn't stick).
Didn't really matter though, as I was out in the garage trying to resurrect my
neighbors late 71 Squareback panel wagon for him (custom, with a roof chop, done
by the kids at the skill center). We're trying to get it to run for the first
time in over 15 years that he's owned it. It had a bus motor in it when he got
it, and about 6 years ago I helped by swapping in a t-3 motor for him
(including removing the single weber 2 barrel carb), but this car had been butchered
in the past. The kids had cut the floor areas out to clear the carbs on the
bus motor, and hacked the wiring. Spent a few days getting things straightened
out just to prep it for the Weber ICTs that he bought. It still had pieces of
the 30 year old fuel hoses in place (they just crumbled when touched). The
starter didn't even want to turn, the voltage regulator was laying on the floor
under a pile of assorted parts, the dash guages were on the passenger side
floor, also buried under parts. Heck, it took 2 hours just to clean it out. : O We
were able to coax it to life for about 5 seconds until the battery finally
died (it's on the charger right now). Sunday should be a better day, as it'll
fire off, that I'm sure, as I know we're close now on the ignition timing (it
was way off).
