<x-flowed> The z-bar does act as an overload spring in addition to your
description. The z-bar comes into play only when both axles come out of
parallel with each other. This occurs in the scenario described
(positive camber jacking in corners) and the opposite condition during
overload (negative camber). There is a description of this on pg. 165
in Elfrink.
