Yes, but I don't know when the upper, or lower, holes began. We may have discussed this earlier. Did you check the archives? Okay, I tried, but now I find that the search engine appears to be off line again. That's in spite of the fact that the listserver is adding a tag line to every message advertising it. What's up, Greg? ;-) > my '67 seems to have that upper bolt hole. Yes, and I'm pretty sure '66s had them, too. The late seat belt anchors are a 7/16" x 11 thread (really!) from at least '68 on, but early VW seat belts had about a 1" anchor. I don't know if those were ever used in type 3s. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Shameless link for search engines: http://listarchive.type3.org ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
