Dear all, Our '73 fastback has original looking fog light switches on the dash: http://vw1600e.org.uk/images/dash.jpg Would these be optional extra M659? (last item on the list at http://www.hallvw.clara.net/t3mnos.htm). I have the original VW service document and owners manual, and neither have any indication of any factory extras which may have been fitted - unlike modern VWs where you get the factory sticker with all the info. The lamps have long since been removed - does anyone have pictures of what they should look like, how they are mounted, and any idea about where the wiring should be routed ? It would be nice to re-fit them if I can find some.
