[T3] Type 3 TV sighting

<x-flowed>    I was flabbergasted to see an early fasty on a prime time TV show 
tonight.  First, I almost never watch TV except the (bad) news.  Second, 
it was the focus of two different scenes, with the main character saying 
"this is a nice old car, I know this car, it's a Volkswagen fastback".  
The show was Law and order, and the bad guy had a auto repair shop, and 
he was working up on a lift on it.  It was a '69 light blue with bondo 
fender and black hood.  According to the cop, if the bad guy put a new 
windshield in it ("a two person job"), how did he do that if he claimed 
he worked by himself?  etc. etc.  It was a junker, but then this was 
supposed to be Brooklyn, a bad environment for nice cars...  Long live 
the Type 3!
