Is there nothing they cant do?? Well... they dont seal the lower heat exchangers well! Verdict is in on the use of RTV to help them out and sure enough, even the high temp stuff is not high enough to withstand the heat down there. I did find a silicone based tape, about an inch wide, red, that wraps on itself that is designed for the high temps and I used it this time to help out the dilapidated donuts. the problem is I grabbed this stuff when it was being thrown out and I dont know the brand or where it came from... yea! I hate that too! But keep an eye out as there is stuff like this out there, maybe McMaster Carr or the like sells some. Ill see how it holds out next summer.
