of course the best would be early frame horns with irs diagonal arms the diagonal arm brackets to do this conversion can be brought from somewhere on the net you then weld these onto the original swing axle sub frame assembly . you will need to weld in your engine compartment the brackets for the rear engine hanger x-member as well .


the whole irs pan with rear subfame bolts up to an early body no sweat or the late rear irs subframe assembly bolts up to an early body and early pan take your pick.
they all change over no worries keep in mind there was a heavy duty variant for some markets with a swing rear end available to the very end.
