Jeff=> What should I be checking while I have this => unusual access to the underside? I'd just go around and make sure everything's tight and clean, the front suspension and steering gear in particular, brake lines, suspension yoke clamps, like that. At the rear, open the plate and look at the shift linkage, check transaxle oil level(s), check the transaxle ground strap and starter connections, maybe test the torque on the big body bolts, look over the axle boots, make sure your cabin heat system and control cables are all good, etc. I always like to get in and dig out the little gobs of road crud that build up around the wheel wells and such, make sure there's nothing that'll hold water long.
