For the front wing (fender) it's symmetric, but for the rear the original is asymmetric - the narrower bit goes against the upright side of the body. Still, beggers can't be choosers. Is it glossy black? If so, a composite could be made up with normal round Beetle beading (welting) to make a very passable front wing beading. Good work, Mark. Dave.
