Actually, I looked at the starter and only saw connections for two wires where there should be three (F.I. wire, power wire, and starter solenoid trigger wire) . Could this explain why the F.I. wasn't working? Would the lack of signal from these wires (18&35) keep the brain from triggering the injectors when working the throttle by hand from the engine compartment with the key turned on? It's all academic now, as I've already pulled the engine and bolted it into the other car, but it could be helpful to know if there's a next time. I'm on the home stretch now, thanks a lot.
