Can any of you folks give me a rough idea regarding how much it would cost to get heat in my 69 fastback? Hereâs the situation: The PO switched-out the FI for dual Solex carbs and replaced the original muffler and put on headers. Iâm not really familiar with what SHOULD be there, but it looks like itâs missing the heat exchangers, mixer box(es?) and everything else from the fan to the interior. And, as I mentioned in an early message, the PO put expanding foam in the heater channels. So far, getting rid of the foam hasnât been difficult. I donât think it goes all the way down the channel÷it appears to be just at each end, so itâs coming out pretty easily. Heater channels aside, what are the major parts Iâll need and how much would you expect them to cost? I've seen some parts on The Samba, but don't really know which ones I need.
