[T3] Presentations please

I am a University Professor in Biomechanics at UBC and have had an 
affair with cars for many years. My favourite is a 1977 3.0 L Carrera 
that I drive on the track and Street.

stuff. As for VW, well, my friend Dave Kenyon convinced me to buy a 
type 3, one that my 17-year old son and I can restore together. We 
began rebuilding a broken type 1 engine. That was fun and now it sits 
in the garage and we can start it whenever we feel like it. This type 
3 project has had many sideways moves but for the most part has been 
a gas. Matt considers chopping, suicide doors and 20" wheel while I 
try to get the chassis restored to say nothing of the body. I have 
stuck the ongoing store on a site at work 
(<http://www3.telsu.net/SUDAMA>) but maybe I can talk to Russ about 
putting it on his site. Our goal is to have this car restored and on 
the road in time for Matt's grade 12 graduation - June 2005. And now 
I am off to Airspeed to get some gaskets so that we can re-assemble 
the rear end of the chassis. Finally, we're putting something 
together...
