I just turned 40.  I learned to drive when I was 12 on my Dad's baja 
bug.  VWs have been a part of my life ever since.  My first and second 
Type 3 was Jane.  First time around was in 1992.   I bought my third 
Type 3 (Sophy) from fellow listee Jim Adney in the spring of 2001.  She 
has made the trip to both Type 3 Invasions....although you would hardly 
recognize her as the same car.

I am a Research Engineer for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI.  I 
have a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering and a M.S. in Mechanical 
Engineering with a specialty in structural composites.  I also do a 
bunch of art, particularly car art.  I designed the logos for both 
Invasions and for our List, among other things.
